The garden studio

Each picture is hand printed, inspired by my nature walks in the woods at Spalford Warren Nature Reserve in Nottinghamshire. As such, each print is individual and displays its own character.

My training has involved fine art and printmaking, photography and garden design. These activities come together in the garden studio - Studio Hortus - where I work in West Lindsey on the Nottinghamshire/Lincolnshire border. Here is where I take inspiration surrounded by animals and the tranquility of a rural setting in a small village by the river Trent.

I specialise in lino cuts printed on handmade Lotka paper which, with its natural colours and texture, is acid free and eco-friendly. Each print is made using Cranfield Caligo relief inks that are long lasting.

Thank you for viewing my prints: I hope they give you as much pleasure to look at as they gave me to create.
